Build Process

We’ll survey the site to identify any possible challenges and prepare to deal with them as the build commences

Our team will take care of the planning process for you. It may be that no planning permission is required if, for example, the size and design of your Spacekube falls within the scope of ‘Permitted Development.’ Also, if you live in a property that requires Listed Building Consent, you may find that your council is more willing to grant permission as the Spacekube provides a distinct ‘modern’ contrast which enhances the existing property. Whatever the situation may be however, we will work with the relevant planning departments on your behalf.

Your chosen Spacekube will be manufactured off-site in our dedicated workshop, under-cover and away from the elements. We use premium-quality, sustainable products to ensure that you’ll enjoy your Spacekube for years to come.

We can deliver and install a Spacekube anywhere in Scotland. Alternatively, you can choose our supply-only service in which cases you may want us to deliver it so you can arrange to have your own builders install it instead.

If you’ve chosen to have us install your Spacekube we’ll take care of everything from laying the foundations, erecting the structure, hooking it up to your electrics and plumbing services and installing your chosen bi-fold or sliding doors and windows from our wide range. Then, depending on the purpose of your Spacekube we’ll take care of the interior too such as installing a new kitchen or bathroom, lighting and flooring. EKCO has the expertise to create a full turnkey Spacekube solution to work around your personal lifestyle.

Once your Spacekube is complete we’ll take care of any snagging issues to make sure you’re 100% satisfied with the finished result.
