This contemporary kitchen project in West Lothian is a refined balance of architectural design, layered lighting and beautifully considered materials. Designed using the Pronorm Y-Line handleless range, the space pairs soft, modern neutrals with rich, tactile finishes to create a kitchen that feels both luxurious and effortlessly liveable.

The base units are finished in Stone Grey, providing a calm, understated foundation, while the rest of the cabinetry in Sherwood Dark Brown introduces warmth and depth. This contrast adds visual interest without overpowering the space, giving the kitchen a timeless yet distinctly modern feel.

Lighting plays a central role in the design. Discreet LED strip lighting  creates a soft ambient glow throughout the room. Glass wall units are enhanced with internal spotlights, turning everyday storage into a feature and adding a subtle evening atmosphere ideal for entertaining.

A standout element of the design is the bespoke glass unit bar and coffee area. Finished with tinted bronze mirror detailing, this zone brings a touch of hotel-style luxury while remaining highly functional – perfect for morning coffees or evening drinks. Nearby, an integrated wine fridge is seamlessly built into the island run, keeping bottles close at hand while maintaining the clean aesthetic.
