This project involved the full renovation of a second-floor flat in Edinburgh’s historic cityscape for a returning client. Years after purchasing a kitchen from us, she approached us again – now retired and spending more time at home – for a high-end redesign of three bathrooms. Each space was to have its own identity while maintaining a cohesive, luxurious feel throughout.

The design journey began in our showroom, where the client was drawn to the Ambiance Bain Dolce Basin Unit in ‘Santal’ – a striking red-pink hue. This bold piece became the anchor for the Master Ensuite and inspired the wider palette.

To complement it, we paired soft Ca’ Pietra Wightwick tiles in Cotton with neutral beige tones, creating a calm yet distinctive contrast. Original architectural features, including archways, were highlighted with custom lighting and a bespoke curved mirror, blending historic charm with modern elegance.

Functionality was just as important. The Master Ensuite features a low-threshold walk-in shower with a tiled alcove for streamlined storage – accessible, practical, and beautifully integrated.

The result is a sophisticated renovation that respects the home’s heritage while embracing contemporary comfort. Each bathroom tells its own story but remains visually and thematically connected, delivering a timeless, client-focused transformation.
