This shower room in Broxburn was stripped right back and rebuilt from scratch, with the result being a bright, spa-like space that still feels warm underfoot.
Large format Exigo matt porcelain tiles, in a soft marble-effect finish, run across the walls and floor, while a Linear Natural wood-effect tile brings texture to the shower wall and the recessed storage niche, a nice contrast against all that cool marble.
The walk-in shower is fitted with a fold-away glass screen and a matt black thermostatic valve, finished with a black rainfall head and separate handset for everyday flexibility. Underneath the oval backlit mirror sits a light oak Veles vanity unit with matt black handles, paired with a sleek countertop basin and matching black mini mixer tap.
The rimless wall-hung WC keeps the floor space feeling open, and black fittings run throughout, from the toilet roll holder and towel ring to the ladder-style heated towel radiator.
It’s the small, matching black details, the switches, the flush plate, the shower fixtures, that tie the whole room together and give it that finished, boutique hotel feel.
