This bathroom renovation was a meaningful project for a returning client – a retired couple who first worked with us over 15 years ago. Living in a charming old-build in Scotland’s Central Belt, they envisioned a space that reflected their current lifestyle: active, adventurous, and well-travelled.
They wanted to recreate the serene, luxurious feel of a high-end hotel – somewhere that still felt like a holiday upon returning home. Using the room’s beautiful vaulted ceilings as our canvas, we designed a space that’s bright, restful, and effortlessly elegant.
A spacious walk-in shower and a Waters Baths Loche back-to-wall bath offer both practicality and indulgence. The material palette was key: Calacatta Gold feature tiles add luxury, softened by Dorset Beige tiles, with brushed brass Crosswater fixtures providing timeless style.
Storage was seamlessly integrated with Ambiance Bain’s Dolce basin unit and fitted furniture in Natural Oak. We also customised an existing cupboard to match, ensuring a cohesive, built-in look.
Illuminated alcoves in the shower and bath areas add both function and ambient spa-like lighting. With accessible design, luxurious materials, and thoughtful details, this truly is their “forever bathroom” – a perfect blend of beauty, comfort, and meaning.
